HOUSTON, June 23, 2004 -- GlobalSantaFe Corporation (NYSE: GSF) and RESULTS IN LEARNING today announced that their behavior-based FOCUS safety course won a Platinum award at the 37th Annual WorldFest Houston International Film Festival and earned a finalist honor at the 25th Annual Telly Awards.

RESULTS IN LEARNING RECEIVES PROGRAM AND FACILITATOR HONORS

LAFAYETTE, La., April 15, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -RESULTS IN LEARNING, Inc. aleading worldwide provider of technical, behavior-based safety, leadership and experiential training today announced the award of Program of the Year at the recent TERA Conference (Texas Experiential Ropes Association), for it's Outdoor Challenge experiential training program, EXTRADimension. The award is given to Texas-based programs that have provided exemplary experiential services to the people in our communities. Recipients of the award demonstrate program integrity, maintain updated safety procedures, and practice sound business practices. Facilitator Wade Bibbee Recognized
For more than 10 years, the Edwin L. Cox Business Leadership Center, associated with the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, has offered innovative leadership training programs to MBAs. By design, all Business Leadership Center programs are delivered by industry professionals, not university faculty. These "outsiders" bring real-world experiences and cases to the classroom.
This year, the Business Leadership Center (BLC) honors 15 instructors with the Teaching Excellence Award. Teaching Excellence is awarded to instructors who receive exemplary student evaluations. The outstanding teachers include RESULTS IN LEARNING' Wade Bibbee for Teaming with The Challenge! program.

Results In Learning appoints new directors and open EGYPT office

LAFAYETTE, La., August 1, 2002 -RESULTS IN LEARNING, a leading worldwide provider of technical, management, behavior-based safety and experiential training, today announced the appointment of Robert L. Lorber and Gordon M. Anderson to its board of directors. The opening of the company's Cairo learning center provides regional access and complements the existing five locations in North America, South America and Europe.

Lorber, president of The Lorber Kamai Consulting Group, is an internationally recognized author and leadership consultant. His New York Times bestseller, "Putting the One Minute Manager to Work," created with renowned management consultant Dr. Ken Blanchard, helped people both inside and outside of the business world manage their lives more effectively. Lorber is recognized for his trailblazing productivity improvement by Fortune 500 companies on five continents. He is an expert at coaching in the areas of performance management, leadership, teamwork and executive development.

Anderson recently retired as chairman and chief executive officer of the former Santa Fe International Corporation. He began his career with Santa Fe in 1954 as a roustabout. His Santa Fe continuity was interrupted while serving three years as a U.S. naval officer. During his Santa Fe tenure, the company expanded from an initial eight-rig, California-based drilling company to an international worldwide petroleum service and oil and gas production company.

Lorber is a professor at his alma mater, the Graduate School of Management of the University of California at Davis. He received a master's in sociology and a doctorate in organizational psychology. He resides in California.

Anderson is a member of the board of the Sea Space Symposium and a member of the board of councilors of the University of Southern California School of Engineering. He is a trustee emeritus of the American University of Cairo, a member of the World Presidents Organization and the American Enterprise Institute and a former trustee of Baker Hughes and Oceaneering International. An engineering graduate of the University of Southern California, Anderson resides in California.
